My father always had a flair for adventure, though not the best execution. It would take him hours to pack for a trip, which got us started late and angry/giddy with anticipation. In his defense, we always had more than we needed and were always prepared for everything! I used to be a chronic over-packer, just like him, but after marrying Aaron that all changed. He challenged me to always only pack only a carry-on which is what I do from now on. On our international travels, he encouraged me to only use a backpack. I took the challenge and managed to pack a fashionable 5 weeks worth of clothes in a backpack and now it's my most favorite thing!
