Pompeii, May 2009

A number of years ago, my mother, sister and I were able to take part in a study abroad to study International Business a Universita di Verona . It was an amazing trip and one of the best aspects of my time at Angelo State University.

A few of us from our study abroad group decided to head to Pompeii for a day trip. It was fantastic to see the ancient ruins - even the chariot ruts in the street were still preserved! It definitely had a strange vibe, mostly due to the amount of death that occurred when Mt. Vesuvius erupted. There's a terrible movie out there staring my lovely Kit Herrington.
