Aaron Rogers
I am a Kindergarten teacher at Lubbock ISD. This is my 8th year teaching Kindergarten and I love it. I am getting my masters in Curriculum Instruction. Besides teaching Kindergarten and going to school and spending time with my lovely soon to be bride, I fill my time with hobbies! I love to learn new things so I tend to chase hobbies like they are going out of business! I have roasted coffee, made cheese, knitted, cage fought, kick-boxed, rock climbed and built bikes. At the moment I am really into brewing beer and making soap.
I also love to leave to country as much as possible and I am really looking forward to traveling and building a life full of hobbies with Elizabeth!
How we met...
Once upon a time, in a Starbucks not to far away, a hyper barista met a cute customer. She was in Starbucks picking up a large order for her class at Tech. Of course the Barista was drawn to this beauty and flirted with her until she had to leave. Many months passed and the poor barista did not see the beauty.
One amazing day the barista happened to be in Starbucks getting his check and he heard a small voice say "Hey, I remember you"! The beauty was waiting in line for a wonderful coffee and the Barista decided to take this moment and learn about her. He found out that she was amazing and was into the same things as he. As the line moved on she was starting to move away and the Barista decided to take a leap of faith and give her his number. She looked excited and took his number and ordered her coffee. She texted that night so say think you and she would call him the next time she was in town.
A few weeks passed and Christmas grew near. The Barista could not hold in his feelings of joy, he knew something was special about this girl! The day of Christmas came and the Barista decided to text the beauty. She texted back fast and a conversation started. Before he knew it they were talking every day and he was loving their conversation. A week passed and she asked him to be her date for a wedding (now mind you, they have not even hung out yet). He said yes and drove to San Angelo to be her date. That night he ended up meeting her family, friends, and yes, fell in love! The rest of the story can be summed up with happily ever after.
