While on the study abroad trip, we stayed two weeks in Verona attending daily classes and lectures on international business and trade. While there, we got quite an education about what life is really like in Italy. And I fell in love with latte machiatto's.

Pompeii, May 2009
A number of years ago, my mother, sister and I were able to take part in a study abroad to study International Business a Universita di Verona . It was an amazing trip and one of the best aspects of my time at Angelo State University.
A few of us from our study abroad group decided to head to Pompeii for a day trip. It was fantastic to see the ancient ruins - even the chariot ruts in the street were still preserved! It definitely had a strange vibe, mostly due to the amount of death that occurred when Mt. Vesuvius erupted. There's a terrible movie out there staring my lovely Kit Herrington. If you're interested in the true story of Pompeii, watch it ;-) !
